Archer

Archers specialize in long-distance attacks using a bow and arrow, so you can strike before your target even knows it's in your sight! You can attack a single creature or use explosive arrows to damage multiple enemies at the same time. Archers are trained by Lugabow, the defender of the Greenwood Forest.^[1]

Job Type: Combat

1	Multi-Arrow	Fires multiple arrows, striking your target and 1 additional nearby target for 50 damage. Higher ranks increase number of targets that can be potentially struck, as well as damage done.

5	Explosive Arrow	Fires an explosive arrow at your target causing 50 damage to all enemies in a small area. Further ranks increase the damage dealt.

10	Stunning Shot	Fires arrows at your target and 2 additional nearby targets, stunning them for 3 seconds. Further ranks increase the stun duration.

15	Sniper Shot	The archer takes aim and unleashes a powerful pinpoint attack causing 133 damage. Further ranks increase the damage dealt.

Unlocking Archer

The Archer job can be unlocked by initiating a quest line with Lugabow in the Greenwood Camp (located north of the Bandit Hideout, west of Lavender Coast Pass warpstone).

Leveling

Archer is a combat job, meaning that the majority of your levels will come from combat instances. Prowling dungeons and besting enemies in the wilderness will earn you stars, which in turn give you experience, as well as the opportunity to invest the stars into your specialized abilities. As an Archer, there is also a series of quests that will guide you through your job. These quests will grant you experience; however, you will hit road blocks that prevent you from continuing the quest line until you gain more levels. Your trainers will notify you of this and offer you a reminder quest whenever this happens!

The best way to level up a job is to do the training quests. To get them, talk to the following Trainers.

Lugabow in Greenwood Camp (unlocks job) - South West / West part of the forest is a small Chug village, he's on the north side of it.
Hilforn in the northern part of Greenwood Forest
