Warrior  A true warrior does not fear harsh weather. Job Type: Combat

1 Kick Strikes your target which stuns and causes 133 damage. Further ranks will improve the damage you deal to enemies. 5 Spinning Blade Executes a spinning attack, dealing two hits for 50-68 damage per hit 10 Quake Slams the ground, taunting and causing 83-126 damage to enemies directly in your path. 15 Commanding Shout A powerful battle cry that strikes fear and does 50-68 damage to nearby enemies.

Unlocking Warrior

Warrior can be unlocked by speaking with Drill Sergeant Dewey in Snowhill.

Leveling

Warrior is a combat job, meaning that the majority of your levels will come from combat instances. Prowling dungeons and besting enemies in the wilderness will earn you stars, which in turn give you experience, as well as the opportunity to invest the stars into your specialized abilities.

As a Warrior, there is also a series of quests that will guide you through your job. These quests will grant you experience; however, you will hit road blocks that prevent you from continuing the quest line until you gain more levels. Your trainers will notify you of this and offer you a reminder quest whenever this happens!

The best way to level up a job is to do the training quests. To get them, talk to the following Trainers.

• Drill Sergeant Dewey in Snowhill (NNE of the central tree) (unlocks Warrior job)

• Steele in Snowhill (blocks you if you are not Warrior 5)

Equipment

You will notice that the Warrior gets upgrades more frequently in his equipment than the other jobs. This is because the Warrior, as the tank, is the one that takes the most damage in a group and it is most important that his gear be the best it can be without overbalancing the job.
