UPDATE: We've come across some additional information from Jason "Pex" Ryan on the official forums.

"Yes, if you are currently a member, the Lifetime plan will kick in at the END of your current membership. If you previously purchased a 12 mo membership, you'll automatically become a lifetime member."

"Booster packs and monthly reward packs will work as normal."
