First announced at Fan Faire 2009, players have been able to see Sunstone Valley on the map for a long time but have not been able to get to it. This just in from E3: Sunstone Valley will be on live servers by the end of summer! It'll have everything you love in Free Realms: minigames, new collections, quests, and some fun new stuff!
There's a Gloam Invasion coming, and players will be able to choose to side with the druids or the dwarves of Sunstone Vally who are stranded in the area formerly known as Shrouded Glade. The event brings tons of new storylines, and there will actually be real, non-instanced combat in Shrouded Gloam, so bring your friends!
The Gloam Invasion starts next week, and Sunstone Vally is expected to go live by the end of summer. You can see the whole interview from E3 on SOE's Twitch page, starting at 21:10.

All of Sacred Grove is in a tizzy getting ready for the big celebration. Queen Valerian is holding a special cake bake-off in Sanctuary, where the best chefs around will compete for the honor of serving their special birthday cake at the final Birthday Bash. You can participate in daily quests to help out with the party preparations.
But watch out! Accidents that happened in a robgoblin's kitchen are leading to chaos, and some cakes are mysteriously missing around Sacred Grove. A monster called Cakenstein is on the loose trying to ruin the tastiest part of the celebration. Do your part to stop Cakenstein from spoiling the Birthday Bash!

The annual Festival of Hearts returns to Free Realms tomorrow! February 7 through March 8 players can enjoy an event centering around the premise of love and friendship. The town of Merry Vale will be transformed into a magical place infused with the power of love.
An eleven part quest series is the center of this event, telling the story of two lovers who were seperated, one becoming jaded in time, the other waiting the return of her true love. Featuring this one-of-a-kind pixie love story, the Festival of Hearts is a time of love, joy and friendship. Players will be treated to Valentine's Day-themed environments and invited to participate in quests to earn special Valentine's Day items, including heart blocks and petals from the Heart Flower.
