I not certain what the plan was behind the recap episode.
It's unnecessary, out of place in the narrative, and serves as a reminder of the core faults of the show. Mako reviewed the shows overemphasis on shipping and how the romantic relationships are superficial audience pleasures that ultimately lead nowhere. Korra reviewed her her faults in fulfilling her role as protagonist by often causing the conflicts within the show not because it was a natural mistake for her character but due to the need to drive the plot forward. Bolin reviewed how the showed is often one-dimensional, absurd, and equally ridiculous in actuality to the proposed hyperbole.
Varrick calling it a "mover" just makes you realize how silly the word "movies" really is.
I didn't care for the recap episode. And am not sure why they did it. Maybe they just wanted a reason to use the chibi-portraits? I don't think any of the Korra episodes had the super deformed like the little extras from the first series.
Oh, if you haven't seen the extras from the Aang series, they are pretty good. I like the one where they are all in school.

The pacing felt better this season. Probably because relatively speaking it was a smaller story, which worked out. Of course, it may have been better had they not made Kuvira so straight out evil.
Also Korra x Asami... the best type of Lesbians.
What did the two Chinese(?) characters mean at the end?
"Zhu Li Moon, will you do the thing for the rest of our lives?"
Season could have been much better if they didn't treat Kuvira so hamfistedly. Not to mention the Narutoian Lecture no Jutsu end. "I BECAME SAD AFTER BEING POISONED!" "OMG U TOTALLY GET ME I LOSE"At least we have a theme song for her *. The final scene was cute, neither adding or taking away anything from the show. Overall every relationship involving Korra seemed pointless and forced. Instead of trying to cultivate a single relationship like with Aang, they just kind of threw Korra at everyone in hopes of appealing to every 'ship faction.
Bolin's Magma Frisbee was pretty badass. The next avatar is an Earthbender, unless they skip, and I hope they play with that a bit more.
* : The Earth Kingdom was having trouble What a sad, sad story Needed a new leader to restore Its former glory
Where oh where was she? Where could that gal be? We look around And then we found The dame for you and me!

There are rumors that due to the **** up that is "The Last Airbender" and the low ratings for Korra Nickelodeon, that this is the last Avatar series, period.
The monstrosity of a Movie aside, even with its flaws, the Korra series was decent enough that it could have been more successful if handled correctly by the network schedule.
Yea, Nick tried their hardest to run the show into the ground, and I also don't know that there will ever be another one. I thought the episode was good up until the spirit realm part. Then it just went downhill from there .

Pretty sure it's just the equivalent of "The End". The 2nd character means "End", not sure about the 1st character though.
