If you switch, you don't lose anything. Your character just gets transfered to the new server, for free. I would switch, but i know too many people here and this is my home. I would not want to be on any other server. ^^

You wont loose anything. You keep all your levels. If I could I would bring my 20/20 guy from Alexander but dont think ill be able to. The only way you lose anything is if it's up for auction or in delivery box when you move.

As tempting as it is to switch to an untainted economy (for now anyways), I know far too many in Cerberus. I would assume that anyone that has made more than 2 or 3 friends will opt to not go. I would love to see some reduced Jeuno lag though. :-)

EDIT: Thank you to those that rate me up. :-)

I don't know, kind of in too deep to be a mover, maybe if i was in the mid-level range. but i can't really ditch the people i've played with for the past 5 months. hopefully, it will even out the economy a little bit.

I actually been thinking about it...

As it is, I don't have alot of time to play... So when I first started, most my friends that I had either left, or are completely out of contact. And it seems the hours I can play, being currently lvl 24 warrior in Qufim, its a pain to get into a decent party(1-2 hours of the 4 I can play a day).

I do like some of the people I meet, but I would like to run away from the lame names, but I know they will follow to the new servers as well...

Basically I'm just not sure... I'm a level 24 warrior, 10 monk, 8, thief, 4 White Mage and 1 Red and Black Mage. I don't have a whole lot of gil or anything... Any suggestions?

Do what feels right to you. If you don't have any ties here, then it might be a beneficial move.

It's hard enough to find a paty without going to a new server lol. Although, I might make a new character and move that one, or jsut move an existing mule. But then I'd have 2 F-lists and sets of LSs to deal with, and I can barely remember anyone now ^^

I myself is quited tempted to move... It is not just economy is messed up in our server, there are some serious politics on our server. New home, no stress. Let see if any of my friends want to move, and I will give a serious thought about it...

I will move if I can convince 5 other friends to move.

I'm considering it as well. All those that I started with have moved on or left the game, so... Unfortunately, I rarely have time for an EXP party, so I'm kinda stuck on whether I should or shouldn't. I'll probably think it over this weekend and weigh the pros and cons. If I suddenly show up on xxxxxxxxxx server, you'll know I moved. lol

Yea I think I will move to a new server... Just for a fresh start with others... I don't have really any ties with anyone. I have made good PT friends but I have no LS and I have no people anymore on my friendslist that are ever on. And it will not only benefit me, but but benefit others on this server, even though I feel that this server has some great people on it.

I don't think a world shift from Cerberus is really necessary. The servers are still in JP... and there will still be thousands on the servers. If I'm not mistaken, Cerberus is rather new and small in itself. If I were on Ifrit, Fenrir, Shiva, Carbunlce or one of the other more popular servers, I may concider it... however, I cannot leave behind those I have come to know and enjoy company of.

The only way I would consider if is if alot of my friends left, and I'm really hoping that none of them do.

If I felt SE had done anything beneficial for NA players or to improve the game, I might have considered it to help out the lag and server situations. But I'm going to have to give this a big fat NO.

Besides I know too many people on this server already.....

It just seems ironic that SE is asking for our help, when they have done nothing to answer anyone's problems or issues with the game. Not a good attitude from a developer if you ask me.

(If anyone can't tell I'm getting more and more pissed off at SE by the day).

After reading some of the early posts, I want to ask a question...
How old is our server? And how does it matches up with other servers in terms of age and population?
