TL/DR version: brackets now span 5 levels instead of ten, and the level requirements for the battlegrounds have changed so you don't have to spend 30 levels playing WSG anymore.

Looks like it is likely to double queue times for a particular bracket, at east until level cap. Which are already unacceptable on my battlegroup at least. Used to be i could use a spare halfhour to do a battleground; now i can barely enter one in that time.

This is probably working in conjunction with their apparent desire to merge battlegroups, making the queues much faster and having a more robust player base to pick from.

I like it, though I'm probably only playing at level cap anyway.

Queue times for lv 80 on my realm are around 8 or 9 minutes. It's maybe 10-15 for WSG at low levels and i haven't sucessfully queued for AB or EotS in the 30s so far on my new mage. There will definitely be a surge in alts and players generally in a week and the BG merge should help a lot also.

I actually really like the bracket change, it should lead to more balanced fights instead of those occasional fights where one side are all x8, x9 and the rest are relatively low level.

Pretty sure they merged all battlegroups, plus it used to be pointless queueing at level 11 now at least you can compete especially in BOA gear. I've been leveling a hunter and doing BGs the entire way up from 10-35 and this change is more then welcome. Queues arent too bad, maybe 10 minutes average.

I don't know if they're done merging groups yet, but I'm in Whirlwind which was part of the first merge. Queue times did not noticeably change. Despite that I think these changes are a good idea. I just hope it doesn't mean I can never try them out.

I've been loving this change on my baby shammy.

Queue times aren't bad or noticeably longer either

i could tolorate the long queues if they BG queue system wasnt so bugged, qued for EoTs and AB @ 35 on my mage last night. took 30 mins to get AB queue to pop, then had the Enter Battleground button glitch and had to re-queue, then spent 58 mins in the EoTs BG queue! By the time i finally got into a BG i was 39 and almost outa the bracket.
