OMFG N00B PLZ HELP!!!!!!Follow

Im a huge newbie with a level 11 Armsman. I used to succesfully play Everquest, but Im sucking really bad at this game. I am using iron chain mail and a fine alloy two-handed sword, dunno why I am doing so badly. Do okay in group but I cant eve chain-solo things that conn blue to me! I assume I must be doing something horrendously wrong, any ideas? Also, does the Armsman have a taunt ability, because I cant find it If he does!

Also before anyone asks, yes I AM using combat techniques!

first off, if your in a guild, ask them for help if their not to busy. second, what are you training in? i am training i slash and shield and i am doing very at at taking on oranges. third, do quests and kill tasks as much as possible. they help alot. finally, group often and buy better armor or ask someone to make you a armor set.
