I been trying to install my DAOC CDs on my new comp and I installed the origanel one. I tried shrouded isles and when I put the CD in and clicked install game it would just show the same screen where I clicked install game. I did that about 3 times and restarting the comp and then went to the Trials of Atlantis and the same thing happen then. so I went back to my old computer and isntalled the origanel and when I went to Shrouded Isles it worked and Atlantis. I have been trying and trying over again and any help would be greatly appreciated. and I have enough memory on the new comp too and it can run it easily.
are the 2 networked? if so there is easy solution, map the old computers CDrom to the new computer and install remote.
if not then you might have a bit more of an issue, but still not to hard.
try copping the CD onto your HD and install from there. if your new computer does not have a name brand standard CDrom it might not read the CD properly. have seen this with a lot of off brand CDroms and CDRW, etc.
