I've found that in training my black mage that at certain levels it's difficult to advance further for the longest type as if the road of leveling up had some deep potholes. What I'm wondering is if this feeling is more unique or popular.

Both level 7 and level 9 were what are commonly referred to as "hell levels" for me. I can't speak for 9 through 20, as I powerleveled through as quickly as possible (3 days in my case).

7 sounds about right, I also was stuck on level 15 for about a week, mostly because I kept trying to go for harder enemies so I could catch up on exp... and then dying. I really hate that you lose exp for dying, or at least that us Taru can't really level on our own as much. Now I'm level 17, I've been killing tough hares near the La Theine Plateau entrance of Valkurm Dunes and getting 120-140 exp per kill, just working my way up to that subjob now. I can't wait for that WHM sub! =D
