Timing Out--Station AccountFollow

anyone else having issues trying to sign into their Station Account?

it started with my DoD disk arriving (very happy!), but then, the insall would just hang w/nothing going on. fine says me, i'll just register it via my station account, yet, everytime i try to log in, i get an operation timed out message. the odd part, tht's with the correct password; i put in the wrong password, and the server was still "smart" enough to figure out wrong password.

i figured i'd check the tech forums, found nothing on the issue, so i figured i'd post a help question--still getting time outs. should mention, the time is immediate--i enter name andpassword, hit "ok" and immediately get timeout message. was able to even change my password via "forgot password", but, no diceon log in.

anyone having similar issues or have any advice?

*edited to add that i'd put this question to SOE, but, i can't log in to post a question on the SOE forum, so, hoping the braintrust here has some advice. =)

that was the problem i had as well when i started using norton, i had to alow it access at all times on all ports.

instead of using the link in the options you can go directly to:

station.com and register your DoD.

then do a file check with the patcher and have it install.
