FFXI actually DOES 'own', though =P Have yet to try EQ, though, so maybe my opinion is a bit biased XD

I think it's funny. I put ONE comment in that thread and he took the time to send me a PM. If he only realized that I think PVP sucks too, and that like 90% of all EQ players don't play on Zek, he might realize how stupid it is of him to keep mentioning it.

When I read a message that looks like that one, with the grammer and spelling the way it is, I am actually embarassed for that person.

And I'm not like some grammer **** or something... but there's that certain 11-year-old-girl-on-AOL writing style, ("NE 12+ EQerz wan 2 chat? OMG WTF?? LOL!") that just really doesn't convey alot of critical thought. (OMG EQ sux LOL OMG WTF? LOL!!11!!!)

It is pretty funny though. Talk about being in over your head.

I like how EQ sucks so bad he took the time to come over here, register to post, and then argue with people about it. Isn't there a hobby shop or something nearby? /shrug

Consider though, they actually had to take time to send several PMs so it is not surprising the content, being rushed, is full of mistakes. That and the fourth grade reading level. Let's hope their grad school assignments require better.

Everquest has PVP?

Oh yeah...other than individual dueling and Arena areas, there is one PVP server, less than 10% of the total servers.

Just pointing out that every single bit of info this tard is relaying about Everquest is totally wrong.

Though I understand it, I think it's silly to feel the need to justify to anyone else why you actually enjoy something, or look for affirmation from other people about your own game.

Except in terms of recruiting for a guild, I don't really give care if EQ has a hundred subscribers or a million. It doesn't impact me. WoW, FFX, Guildwars, etc don't offer me the stuff I enjoy in EQ, and the reasons I enjoy EQ are something the vast majority of gamers of the other games wouldn't care about or are interested in. I recommend WoW or whatever to friends without a second thought if I think they'd like it, even knowing I can't really get into it.

Well, I asked for a challenge, and a few straight days of wiping, agonizing long CRs and recoveries, and difficult runs have pretty much convinced me we got it. Looking forward to seeing all it has to offer.
