9th coldian ring quest (peffin)Follow

I have a question about Peffin in the 9th Coldian ring quest. So far I have soloed my way through the 9th ring quest. I am now to the part where I must hand the note to peffin to respawn the version of her I get the head and such from. What I am wondering is how this all works. From what I read about the quest on this site it says she respawns and runs down to the fire and 5 level 51 giants spawn around her. It also says there rooted? If they are rooted couldn't a druid just dot the crap out of her from a distance and nuke? I have a 63 druid that I use to kill the stuff, then I log my 55 warrior on to loot. I would just try it, but it was all I could do to make that tainted ale for berridin, and if I fail I have to try and make that stuff again. I only got a 190 in brewing and a geerlok, so I was REALLY lucky to make it.

Just was wondering if anybody who has done this quest might have some tips or info (such as how hard she hits, does she despawn after a certain amount of time, how magic resistant, etc etc. I had a small group put together today with the guild but we wasn't sure if we could do it or not so we didn't.
