Six man group down'd him, all level 80s: Warrior 21k 3.7kac (sword n board) used Defensive, cleric, druid, shaman, berserker, bard.
Took about an hour to pop, just killed the trash around entrance to the room (north entrance). Popped right infront of us. He sent out a stun randomly but the duration is under 2 seconds. DI went off but otherwise his dps wasn't a huge issue.. given three healers. Fight lasted about a minute.
Dropped two generic items and the choker which went to the Shammy.
Hits for up to 6500 but has relatively few HP. Average hits on a bard seemd to be 3200 (every time I pulled him) Dont bother with a CH rot but instead have 3 healers all spamming fast heals. The fight is over in 40 seconds anyway. Just use all offensive disciplines from everybody but the tank.
We had trouble with him with only 6 of us so we recruited 10 more ppl to come help kill him, and with 16 lvl 80 ppl it almost was overkill.
Hes unsnarable, unrootable, un-calmable, unmezable. He has social aggro with other minos, all the metal dudes, little brownie slaves, and basically anything in the room His aggro radius seems to be a hair larger than other trash mobs in the same room. He sees invis. Everytime I pulled him, I used snare on a diff nearby mob and waited to fadesplit until they were apart. He runs very fast and will catch anything that moves. He seems to be a straight melee guy with no AOE's going off
He spawns from any PH of a mino. We saw him by the bottom of the ramp and also by the zone-out pit both in the mino room (Big room south of the zone in in Steam Factory, shaped like an irregular cave)
He has some sort of knockback wpn proc so levitate helps but its resistable.
Southeast of the brownie rebels camp is a big slave / mining pit. ANY minotaur in that pit can be a placeholder for either named. Good place to farm good nodrop gear.
