Good for making cash too
# Feb 08 2007 at 3:31 PM Rating: Decent
I can sell these at up to 2000gil in Windy Woods exit on Carbuncle. Slow sales.. but you recoup your cash and it will fund you straight through.

1500gil is a better if you want decent sales, and 1000 can clear a bazaar if you run into a knowledgeable player.

I suggest placing text in your Bazaar message explaining what this stuff does and explain that this is a gift from the gods at lower levels.

I started making these at 75

This drink does indeed last ten minutes. I just tested it about an hour ago while partying. Drank it at 10:44 PM and it wore off at 10:54 PM. I did not, however, verify the 2hp a tick thing. It's kinda hard to watch your hp when you must control your mp whilst trying to stay alive in Kuftal Tunnel.

Goddess I hate that place.

There's no way this drink lasts for 10 minutes. I'd use one at the beginning of a mandy fight in Yhoator and it would wear off before the end, and no my PT didn't suck to the point of taking 10 minutes to kill a mandy.
But if I'm right, I remember using them a while ago and they would last much longer, were they changed?
Skill up!?

This thing gave me a lot of skill up's, I started making this at lv 72 for skill, with adv. support + west direction I'm having a lot of breaks until lv 74. From level 74-77 I'm getting a lot of skill up, especially in watersday around full moon, i can get up to .7-.8 with one stack of material and most of the time i'm getting 0.1 on every other synthesize and got me from lv 73-77 in less than 2hr.

However I recommend starting this from 74+, 72 took much longer to get a skill up and breaks most of the time even with support and might not worth the gil. Craft Navarin until 74 before Pamama au Lait this might give you the best skill up with the shortest time.

I've also noticed this thing sells much faster in bazara then on AH.

Im 73+1 cook... I make 12+ of these and i am lucky to get .2 (all together) skill ups. I did this on Lightsday Firesday and lightningsday... I lost the least on lightningsday (funny).

I make 1300 gil in jeuno.. not to bad.. but i want skill ;p

edit - spelling ;p well now this stuff is 1500 min and as high as 1800 (Siren)
What did you other cooks craft after this? Hoping to make something new and easy ingredents to gather.

Yup, this stuff stinks to get skillups with. It's nice in terms for making decent profits since they are cheap to make if you farm most of the ingredients or buy them via NPCs, and you need to make hundreds of them to get a single skill and they sell very quickly. If you wanna get fast skillups then this is not the best stuff to craft.

cheap and easy

This item is very cheap to craft
you can start doing it after you capped with pear au lait around 72.
Since if it break you will lost 550 maximum....why not just let it craft?!
easy to be capped @ 81, and sell sooo fast
only 1 thing is not that good is....this item cant be stack.

YOu lose 550 MAX? GOD! What server are you on? ON Alexander, the honey ALONE often costs 500 itself, not counting any other ingredients! You must be on "Fairy" server, because you're living in fairy tale land!
Very cheap and good skill up

This is one of those foods you can skill up very quickly and cost efficiently. This is also in high demand due to low supplies(not much profit) and long regen.
Cost each estimate:
Water crystal-100G
Pamama - 150G
Honey - 250G
selbina milk - 50G
550G
You can sell to other players for cheap and it sells very fast, especially in Jeuno.

Um... first of all, you need TWO pamamas per synth, and I dont know where you're getting honey for 250gil, but I want on your server! in 2005 prices were HIGHER than they are now, and yet now honey sells for TWICE that! God... just another genius not even thinking about what goes into a synth...

Bazaar these in bastok mines, I sold 40/night there at 600 each.
How soon?
# Oct 07 2004 at 5:15 AM Rating: Decent
How soon can I start making these successfully with advanced synthesis support? I'm currently 72, is that too low?
RE: How soon?
# May 23 2005 at 2:19 PM Rating: Decent
72 isn't too early, I'd recommend doing some navarin with just basic (free) support until 73 or 74. Both of these recepies make a decent profit as long as you pace yourself and don't flood the market.

72 is not too soon if you're going for skill ups, and you have advanced support. You'll break a lot during 72, but it picks up during 73. I just started on this recipie earlier this week at 72. I crafted on three different days (light, dark, and water) and found that both light and water gave an ok rate of both successes and skill ups. Darksday was giving good skill ups when I did succeed, but I was breaking too often to make it worth the time.

Just for completeness sake here are the conditions that I was crafting with (I'm not even sure if some of these help, but I'm listing them anyway): advanced support, 8 points of water on my mog furniture, moon at 12%, facing just South of due East, no cooking clothes, best results on watersday.

Craft pumpkin pies instead of this.

I was gonna craft this to 83 so i bought a ton of ingredients for it now that 12 synths give about .1 or .2 skillups. Well.. after doing about 40 synths at 81.0 and never getting a single skillup, I can pretty definitely say this caps at 81.
