Personally, I have found Druids to be one of the more powerful classes at low levels. Not only can they TP, but they can heal, buff, and even take on occasional Ranger duties. Sure, they have some weaknesses, but doesn't every class? Wizards can be very powerful as well, but the fact is, we've all got different roles to play. I catch a lot of flak for being a Ranger, but to tell you the truth, Rangers are a lot more powerful than most people think!
damn straight. trying to find some random mob? sand/hill giants? thistle underbrush? your chances are nil unless you have track. rangers dont need to beg sows off shamen and druids (and now beastlords). as for druids, youre (the guy who posted the original, not the one im replying to) just pissed cause they blow by you leveling cause we/they can solo so well. youre mad because you tried to get that soloing ability with a necro but you cant port yourself around. so you tried to get the porting ability with a wizard, but you cant solo as well and you dont have sow/wolfie. ever duel a druid? really frustrating, when you finally get out your pumice to cancel off snare, debuffs, and dots, he just runs a ways away and does it again. then hes out of sight and he treeforms. in short, druids are not the most popular class for no reason. druids get the soloing ability of necros and the porting ability of wizards, can fill any group role (except tank past lvl 20 or so) reasonably well, plus a lot of odds and ends that make life just plain cool. you dont like druids, thats your problem. but next time you get to thurgadin and forget to get a bind, get nailed by a couple giants/wurms, and find yourself back in feerrot...have fun gettin there in one piece and in time to get a rez before the 3 hour time limit

u know, i read somewhere that hate evolves out of fear and is an acklowledgement of power. so since u seem to hate druids so much, it means either you think we druids are very powerful. why, thank you! nice to know someone finally thinks of us as people who actually hunt instead of just sit in kelethin or rivervale and sow ppl
Just figured I'd point out that he said wizzy , meaning he doesn't need anyports if he is killing these . And why would he need buffs doens't he have rune spells ?
I dont know how you are dropping with 4 banish summoneds I have fought them for 2 levels and have never had one fall off of 4 full banish summoneds spells. They always have between 100-200hps left
Druids group them up 2 to 4 and use lightning blast 477 dam to each for 255 mana I've never had them resist any of it. If your gonna kill em killem 4 at a time right :)
Guys, guys, guys they work like the rest of us the higher the lvl the more hit point so saying one has 2340 is probably true for a low 36 lvl hornet and above 2600 is about right for a 39 lvl hornet but who realy cares when it's dead.
They have less than 2340 hitpoints. 4 Banished Summoned at 585 dropped every one that I attacked. Occasionally I would get a partial resist and it would require a 5th cast, but I would usually just root it and DS myself to finish them off.
