Series Summary

Fabled - Bite of the Wolf

Starter: Examine a shifting elemental shard, dropped by a shifting ethereal elemental (80^^^) in Kunzar Jungle around -675,102,437

  • A shifting ethereal elemental Seems to spawn anywhere in Trakaraptor Alley. Reported 1 to 2 hour (approximate) respawn time, so bring some friends and a book. The mob "blinks" around the valley -- meaning it only stays in one spot for a short period of time (a few seconds) before it disappears to another spot. Track is highly recommended, and if you see it hit it immediately, as it will not wait around.
  • If you miss it, stay where it was, there is a good likelihood that it will re-appear at that locus again within 3 to 5 minutes. Killing it leaves the shard on the body, lootable only by a warden. It only drops one shard per kill.

A Broken Barrier

  1. Speak to Veryn P'Neru at 443.33, -15.62, -265.27 in Darklight Wood at the Shadow Oak. She will give you four subquests to complete, which may be done simultaneously:

      3. Return to the nameless druid.
      4. Return to Veryn P'Neru.
    • Broken Barrier: Wounded of the Water
      1. Speak to a Nameless Druid in Fens of Nathsar. She is under the water at 440.90, -125.23, 500.76 at Omen's Call.

      1. Speak to the nameless druid at -1,354.74, 214.43, 262.94 in Jarsath Wastes. She is on top of rocks. You will need to jump over the lava.
      2. Use the provided rock sampler to take samples from the two other magma rivers in the Skyfire Mountains region. You do not have to actually go into the lava to get the samples.
        • One update is near the Skyfire Mountains Sokokar Post at -1027.11, 232.81, 516.68 .

      • (approx 10-15 min repop). Named has a knockback so be careful. Only the named gives the binding; of two or more Wardens are in a group and the binding drops, all of the Wardens will now be able to get the binding from the same mob. He's been reported to pop without killing any placeholder.
    • elemental binding of water: A Random drop off of any Gorowyn archimagi in the Chardok Palace in Chardok. Enter from Kylong Plains at 1754,106, -3093

Level 90 Mythical Conversion

Your Mythical Weapon has unique effects which will not work on level 81-90 spells, combat arts, or pets. By completing two quests, you may convert your Fabled or Mythical Epic Weapon into an Enervated Weapon and add persistent Mythical Effect spells to your knowledge book. This allows you to acquire other weapons without losing class-defining Mythical effects.

The quest requires that your class and your Epic weapon match. You will only receive the mythical spell gem of your current class.

You can start this series as long as you have the fabled version of your epic. But if you have completed "Epic Repercussions" then you will not be rewarded the mythical weapon if you go back and complete your class specific Kunark mythical quest.

The quests which make your Epic Weapon effect into a spell is the same for all classes.

  1. Fiery Jewel of the Underfoot
  2. Epic Repercussions
