Lets see... If you went to a movie theatre and you missed the same ratio of time that we are missing in a month of FF XI.. you'd miss 1/30 of the movie... average movie lenth is around 2 hours... so you'd miss..um..what 2-4 mins? I wouldn't be asking the theatre to give me a handout over missing 2 minutes of a movie, and I won't be asking for a handout from squeenix for missing one day in a month, either.

y do u peeps keep blamin SE. They are trying to provide us with a good gaming service (FF11) but sum ppl out their keep hackin and attackin FF11 servers. SE only do this emergency maintenence to fix the damage these hackers are causin so dont go blaming SE. If you wanna blame sum1 blame those f****** hackers/attackers not SE.

one more thing you know what pisses me off? On http://www.playonline.com they have that Vana'diel Live video of whats goin on in the servers........ I HATE IT, ITS SUCH A TEASE TO ALL OF US WHO CAN'T PLAY IT ='(

WTF seacrh is broken, got kicked out now can't get back in /fume wtf im tired of this s**t. Thats fine S/E u guy have issues with hackers, small bugs etc. No full refund /understood at least a prorated refund for the down time this is rediculous. I work 2 jobs, only have 2 day i can play. So far the last 3 times I could play the servers were done. You guys have 1 more month to get your s**t together. fyi s/e I just picked up a copy of WOW "World of Warcraft" do make me install it !! ^^

There's better things to argue about than just whining against SE.

And I think if SE does emergency maintenance like that, it's basically to get rid of these problems. I think it's a good thing, personnaly.

Its all a game yes but when I have time to play and cannot and am paying RL Money I earned from an RL job on it I expect to be able to play!

This is not insurance where you pay for something that may or may not happen.

If you go to the movies do you expect the film to play or for you to just watch the previews?

Do you go to the store and buy an item and leave it at the store?

Ever go to the gas station and buy gas just to not fill your tank and drive off?

I am wondering if I can claim this on my taxes as a charitable donation since I am paying SE for nothing?

Well I feel some what empty and yes if this does continue I will still try to log in but I must say most companies are willing to discount for loss of entertainment were as SE will not and does not grant any compensation for loss of service they provide.

I think this is sad but what a way to get rich!

You know what? It's funny, I am having no troubles with my game. I can get on Pandemonium easily. You just have to be on a server that's healthy. *knocks on wood* We don't have many problems like this. I don't remember emergency maintenance on our server ever since I've been playing.
