Mercedes Lackey, anyone?Follow

You'll understand more if you start with Arrows...pretty much all her books can be read as a stand-alone novel, but you'll miss a lot of the more subtle references if you haven't read some of the others.

But, that same issue is what makes them such re-readable books...you read the first one that you read after having read more of the series, and you'll have many "Ohhh!" moments, when something from another book ties into the current story.

I love Mercedes Lackey Bedlam Bard books. One of my daughters, is trying to build a complete Library of her works and I been Meaning to reread So many of the books when I have the time.

Just I find so many books to read lately that are calling me. Damn Tor and Baen and their free downloads too.Smiley: glare I have downloaded 6 books in hmtl format, in the last 2 weeks. The second of the Bedlam Bard books, Beyond Worlds End is available at Baen's Bar.
