I just got done reading Faith of the Fallen, for like the 7-8th time. That is most deffenetly my Favorite book. Not just of the SoT serries, but the best book that I've ever read. There are veary few books that can bring a tear to my eye.
I think for the SoT books, The single Books are amazing, but Robert Jordan has a better story line for his serries. But book to book, Goodkind is much better than Jordan. You just have to look at Goodkind's books as Single books, with a general theme from book to book. I've looked at them that way, and that way I'm not dissapointed at further books. I hated Pillers of Creation, and Naked Empire. I understand why they had to be introduced, but I still don't understad useing an entire book to explane un gifted rahl's. I haven't read Chainfire yet, but I have high hopes that they will get better.
And an interesting side thought, wasen't Drefan technically a supremely un-gifted Rahl, being the son of Darken Rahl. Meaning, the means of his "Closer" (Not trying to "Give it away") in that book shoulden't have happened that way : ) Just a thought, I believe it was the 3rd book that featured Richard's brother Drefan. Read it, and think to yourself... "Is Goodkind just writing individual books, and comeing up with new ideas? Or did he plan ahead and just missed a step" lmao
