Social Linkshell requestFollow

Hiya, people.

I am yet another player who quit-and-upon-returning-found-myself-alone.

I quit 2 years ago, and recently decided to give FFXI another shot. I missed the community and the uniqueness of Vana´diel. However. Like I said, most of my old community has long since disbanded, and I am currently looking for a LS that has a fair bit of EU players (maybe even a few fellow Norwegians :P).

I have a WHM75, but it is retired due to SCH becoming the "new" required subjob. I do plan to level SCH, but as of right now, I am just going to casually level a few jobs with no specific goal of getting another 75 anytime soon.

I don´t really like all the drama and time-requirements that come with endgame LS´s, so if you know of a LS that would welcome a happy-go-lucky adventurer (who might occasionally ask a few dumb questions about FoV, Campaign or anything else that I never experienced way back when), give me (Caley) a /t ^_^

I´ll see ya´ll online!

I don't really think my linkshell is EU, but I can probably field your non-endgamey questions if you'd like.

By the way, with the upcoming level cap raise, /RDM is likely to become a new standard subjob for WHM, although I imagine /SCH will still have its purposes. Just forewarning.

I'm in the PST time zone, but I get up crazy early with my hubby (between 5 and 7am), and stay up after he leaves for work. So I tend to play during EU peak times, in fact a great deal of the people in my Dynamis LS (UnbornHeroZ, led by Quetzal) are GMT players.

For social linkshells I bounce between DeathBeforeDishonor, and Virinis. I've been in DBD for years now, but it does tend to be a little quiet early morning PST, before about 9-10am my time. Virinis folks are quiet until you /poke them into talking by throwing a topic out into the ls.

Oh, and also: /em uses {/poke}ga on Fynlar! It's super effective!

I'm looking to return and hopefully find a social linkshell that's around my time too. Unfortunately in my industry, overtime is required and comes in spurts, generally summer months are my busiest. My only free time is when I get home from work which can range from 4-5am PST till i go to sleep around 8am PST.

I wouldn't mind finding a weekend social or a GMT linkshell if anyone does know of one. I tried waking up at crazy hours for my schedule to do Sky, limbus, dynamis etc but from what i hear most of those shells I was in has since dissolved.

Sorry to latch on to this thread but I too am looking for a social to make FFXI less boring and maybe help/get help with missions/quests which is what I find really fun about this game.

75 WAR/DNC/MNK/PLD/BLM/BST and 73 SAM

Oh and Hi Aylah, long time!

Secret of Mana has just moved to Lakshmi as part of the server merge from Garuda. We were probably the biggest EU linkshell on Garuda and we've got a big NA membership too.

We do missions in statics in rotation, we're currently doing a night time EU WotG static on Thursday and an EU evening/NA afternoon CoP static on Sunday.

We run ZNM every second Friday and events such as O.Hat, R. Pumps, Soboro, Swift belt etc. in rotation as the need arises.

The members are a mix of people including people who just started or come back to the game to active end game and HNM players.

We do have an approval process for new pearl so if anyone is interested visit us at www.secretofmanals.com

The core of the EU members do Dyna together as part of DynaLounge, Aeyela (Wooooodum from Garuda) is the shell holder.

We mainly do Northlands and Dreamlands Dyna and do cities every 3 months or so if there are enough new members needing wins.

You can find out more at www.DynamisLounge.com
