If you are interested, reply to this thread or send /tell to me. I should be on tonight and tomorrow night. Some of my linkshell member and friend will try to help if they are free.

Ok, some members in my linkshell will help but I will need some healer to keep them alive.

So far I have lv 58-60 RNG, NIN, and maybe DRK, PLD, BST to help. Any RDM out there that need to do the coffer are welcome to join. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance if you can help out.

I have been hearing someone by the name of Truewarrior calling for help with this for a long time. Everytime I go to lower jeuno, I hear him still there asking for help. You should look him up and ask him to come along when you go down there.

I remember almost quitting this game trying to get help with coffer hunts. Its really not fun, but it is something you have to do if you want to continue (and not be gimped).

For those of you who are in the same boat I was let me give you some helpful pointers I figured out along the way. Hopefully, these pointers can make your coffer key hunts more bearable (especially those jobs like pld and rdm who's keys are extremely difficult to come by).

First, find a good linkshell. If you find that your linkshell is always too busy to help you or everyone in the linkshell is too low level to help you might consider finding another. This is what I ended up doing. I loved my LS, but I was the highest level, and we were constantly getting new low-level players invited to the LS. I would help them with missions, but because of level difference, they were unable to help me.

When you do shouts in Jeuno, refer to them as "skill up, coffer hunts". Even though, not a lot of people like to skill up on undead, you are more likely to get some high level help this way.

For Eldieme, if you just need numbers (more help), find a mixture of people that need papyarus paper for genkai. If you hunt in the hume bones room, your going to be killing liches too, and each time I went down there we got at least a couple papyarus papers. This way you can get more people to go by helping each other.

Some of the places you be hunting for keys will have beastmasters experiencing off of the mob's that drops keys. They are most likely just dropping these keys. Always /sea the area of bst and ask them if they will let you have their key drops. Might offer to pay them so they will be sure not to forget you when those keys drop.

Find a few people around your level that you party with often and make a pact to help each other with each other's AF.

A lot of people will not believe me on this next one and I can not prove it. But I have done a lot of coffer hunts. And each time we have a high level thief we have gotten MANY more drops. I have been told that thf does not help with key drops, but from my experiences, I do not believe it. In fact, if I had to do key hunts again, I would pay for a high level thief's help.

If you guys are going down to Eldieme, please contact Truewarrior so he can go with you. You can ask me too, I might be able to help and bring a few LS mates. I am a 68 pld of LS clanBEB.

Last night Truewarrior and I were able to assemble a great coffer key hunting party, we had about 10 people, all over level 62 or so, with the exception of Truewarrior and I, who are bout lvl 54. Anyway, I'd like to express my gratitude to Truewarrior for going the extra mile to help me get my key. Last night was the fifth night in a row I had assembled a party to hunt the key. The first night, two people got the key. The second night, Truewarrior got the key, and the next two nights, no drop at all. But last night, after only 20 minutes we got a drop, and that was my key. Of course, another key dropped immediately after that one, so I invited another person from the other alliance that was down there, and gave it to them. I'm glad I could have made someone's coffer key hunt easier, as Mine was ridiculously exhausting.

Anyway, the only person to stick with me throughout the whole thing was Truewarrior. He was going down the /sea lists asking ppl to join to help get my key, and I appreciate his efforts greatly. It's people like this that really make playing fun.

But, now that I have my key, it's my duty to help others get theirs. I think, though i'll have to take atleast a week off from that hellish place, my eyes hurt from being blinded by every undead down there!

Cheers, and happy hunting

Congrats on your key. I try my best at helping out but I guess I didn't do enough. I was in that party when TrueWarrior get his key. Good Luck on getting the coffer chest if you haven't open one yet.
