Hi!! I been seriously thinking about coming back. I been gone for about maybe 3 years and I'm waiting to see if they can save my character who was 75 PLD and 75 SMN. But if they can't I have a 62 RDM I can still play.
So is it worth coming back? Are there still low levels leveling up jobs??

Absolutely, with the introduction of Level Sync it's much easier to PT at any level than it was before.
When you add in Fields of Valor, getting levels in any level range is faster, you can always do some Valor (or Campaign after ~60) to get XP when you're waiting for a PT or only have a little time to play.

I think the underline is you will find the game is more friendly to casual players now (both at pre-75 and 75). If you are interested in hardcore material, than you may see the more or less the same except some new tweaks. There is for sure no shortage of things to do; it is more a problem you find the right people to do them with you.

Well surprised I got both of my characters back!
Level 75 PLD - SMN Hume
and
Level 75 WHM - 75 NIN - 73 BLM Mithra <---- I thought she was gone forever!
My Pld Smn has all her stuff! but my Mithra is completely naked with a few rare equipment she still has! Have to get her equipped with Whm - BLM gear. As I dont think I want to do Nin as I have a Pld already.
I don't think I'll be hard core at playing, maybe just mainly helping other with things. I came back just to have something to chill when I get home from work.
I did notice these weird bubbles by people names while exping in a party.
What is it and how do you get it?
And Kyrin RIP??? I knew her! I know you too Amanada I ran the FFXI Signature forum for a while.
Oh and anyone have a nice busy LS I could join?
I'm waiting for my expansion CD's to get here by mail so I'm stuck in nooby lands.

Not sure if you have end game in mind, but there are decent LS around -- end game or just regular chit chat LS. Oh about FFXI siggy, I am still using the old one that I got from OP's old website in LS forums. ^^; Thanks again Kallisi.
