Not meaning to derail the current derailment but i've been trying to figure some stuff out for my hunter and figured I would just post here instead of a new topic.
Anyway with the new gear and new teir bonuses i've been trying to work out some stat values.
Here is my hunter right now and as you can probably tell right away I have a crap ton of haste. This has brought along a few problems with it.
Until not to long ago have been using Aimed Shot for my focus dump and it was working quite well. Since starting DS and getting the 2-piece teir bonus I have started to shift over the Arcane instead. The double focus regen has made the Aimed Shot rotation pretty focus inefficent. That along with more movement for the most part in DS Arcane has felt better. DPS wise on the target dummy me and my GM (also a hunter) have worked out both of them are about even with each other.
I have ran the numbers on femaledwarf and in my current gear set it values haste at more than double crit or mastery. I'm assuming femaledwarf wants me to push for the next haste soft cap. My problem with that is with switching to an Arcane focus dump I don't see a need to. I read somewhere that it's better to try to get haste down to the 1250 haste soft cap for an Arcane spam. I have also seen some inconsistency with crit and mastery values on different sites. Femaledwarf for example gives mastery a higher value than crit. It is my understanding that crit outweighs mastery.
TL;DR- When switching from and Aimed Shot to Arcane focus dump what is the value of haste compared to crit/mastery?
