Damage Dealer ClassFollow

Hello, I'm probably the newest EQ2 player and so I ask you: What class or job is the uber Damage Dealer in EQ2? In FFXI Rangers and Black Mages are the DD of the game. who holds those positions here? and how needed are they in a party?.

On a separate note, Can a necromancer become good through the betrayal quest I read about?. Do you also got like 2 seconds to execute one's weapon skill to do a Skill Chain as in FFXI or is there no timer here in EQ2?. and last what reward is there in soloing and what are the best classes for soloing?. Please reply and thanks much for your time. See you all in the game.

considering as u cant do the betrayal quest after lvl 17 i think, i assume a necro can't be good.
fighters seems to be the big damge class starting.... I would think wizards and warlocks would take the big DD postions for mage and berserkers and Brusiers would be the big melee DD.

side note: in all i think every class is balanced towards there "Role." I think SOE worked to make DD equal tanking jobs equal and support jobs equal. no more feeling like **** because you went Drg or Sam and you have to live in the Shadows of Blm and Rngs, the same goes for tankers PLDs dont seem like they will rule the tanking world, actually Guardian seem like they would. but we all know the dangers of speculation so early in the game, one update/ change and any one job might be screwed/ or made uber ^^.
