I was a Beast master in EQ and loved it from lvl 1 to 50. <never had much game time :( > Why was this clas taken out or is it still there and I don't see it. I have looked at every EQ2 site I can find and no mention of it. Monks are a ok class but I liked having my big ole tiger by my side.
So anyone know what happened? Was the class not used as much as the others?

EQ is not EQ2
The guild I am joining to play says that so often it is becoming a mantra. Do not equate the two. The only thing they have in common is a simialar background.

Well give them some time. I am sure they are planning on introducing other classes and races as they put out expansions for EQ2.

Oh, and it's BeastLORD, not beastMASTER. :) But yes, it's a very different game. I am a beastlord player from EQLive myself, and would have loved if they had been included, but honestly, the class just doesn't fit in with the way they are doing the classes/sub-classes in EQ2. At least not in any recognizable form.
