Boy what a difference a class change makesFollow

I just returned I made myself a Heroic Ranger with Journeymen 5 mercenary. I went to Old blood fields even on reactive Merc could barely keep me alive on certain pulls and certain mobs and I'd have to let the Merc recoup its Mana. Ranger tanking is horrible yet great at bow usage however when the mob summons you then have to fight melee forget about it. I now rerolled that same ranger and made it into a shadow night. I'm not sure if it's because of the disc, the discipline or the AC or combo of all three but it is going much better.
