I just created an account and I can't log in.

If you cannot log in and you just created an account, be sure that you have clicked your verification link. Do not double click this link, or you will receive an error resulting from the second click.

I accidentally double clicked my verification link.

No worries! If you did click it, even if twice or more, you are all set. Just use the reset password feature located on the log in page. Once there you can set your password and log in. Be sure and have your cookies enabled or you will receive an error.

I did not receive a verification link.

Check your spam box! The verification link is an automated email and most providers will flag this as spam. However, Yahoo goes one step further and blocks this at server level. If you use Yahoo as your provider, email your user name to accounts@zam.com from your registered email to get your verification link.

I can't log-in.

There are several things that could be the problem, such as using the wrong user name or password. The log-in fields are case sensitive and a user-name of KenobI must be entered exactly as it was entered upon account creation. The same applies to passwords. (eg: 6/stYui will not work as 6/STYUI)

However, if you are sure those are correct, then it may be solved by following the list of suggestions below:

*Make sure your cookies are enabled, this is necessary for a completed log-in.

  • Clear your cookies, cache and temporary internet files.
  • Be sure your computer time and date are correct, this could cause a cookie failure.
  • Double check that there are no spaces before and after your user name or email and password in the log-in fields.
  • Complete a password reset if you have forgotten or lost yours, or perhaps yours has been corrupted or accidentally reset.
  • Lastly, try logging in on another browser.

I did everything suggested, still can't log in.

Send an e-mail to accounts@zam.com, include the following:

  • Your email registered with the site.
  • The issue(s) you are having and any error(s) that you may have experienced.
  • Your browser type and version.
  • Any changes you may have made to your account, browser, or computer recently.
  • Include the suggestions above that you may have attempted.

I forgot my password.

Located on the Log-in page, there is a lost password feature, click it and the system will e-mail you with instructions on how to reset your password.

I lost my password and I want my old one back.

For security purposes we do not store passwords where we can access them. If you lose your password, use the reset password feature located on the log in page. Change the password to something you will remember. You may need to clear your cookies and be sure they are enabled or you will not be able to log in properly or at all.

I used the password feature and didn't receive an e-mail.

There are several reasons for failed password e-mail delivery, try one of the following options:

  • Verify you used the correct e-mail address when attempting recovery.
  • Be sure and check your spam folder and trash can as some e-mail providers flag our automatic e-mails as spam. i.e. Hotmail and Yahoo. Some ISP's actually block our automated e-mails at server level, thus you will never receive them, some examples are Comcast, Verizon, Mschi and Earthlink (and sometimes Yahoo.) If you lose your password frequently, you may want to consider using a different e-mail provider for your ZAM.com account, such as Gmail.
  • Send an e-mail to accounts@zam.com from your registered email address and include your user name, requesting a manual password reset or supplying the password you would like to have.

How do I change my password?

On your user settings page, the change password option is located on the Account Settings link. Click the Change Password link that will bring you to a new page and allow you to input your new password. You will need to put in your old password once and the new password in twice for verification purposes. Click Change Password and you will be brought back to the user settings page.

How do I change my e-mail address?

On your user settings page, click the Account Settings link. Click the Change Email link that will allow you to input your new address. Click Submit to finalize. In order to ensure that the email address is valid, clicking the change email button will log you out, and send a new password to the email address. This must be a valid email address or you will be locked out of your account. You should receive a verification page of the change.

I can't log in and my email isn't the same

Send an e-mail to accounts@zam.com, include the following:

  • Your user name
  • For security verification you must provide the email registered in the system.
  • The first and last 4 digits of the card used for premium service if applicable.
  • Your new email address

You will need to use the Master Password option and log in with your ZAM.com EMAIL and password. To link your accounts you will have to have the same email on both accounts.

If you have followed the steps above and still cannot link them or your status does not update properly, send an e-mail to accounts@zam.com, include the following:
