This bow is better for Taru and Mithra but Hume, Elvaan and expecially Galka could stick with the Happy Egg +1 VIT +1% to Hp at 69 My Hp as a huem is 1250+ so thats +12 hp from the Egg. 2 more hp but Not really compariable to the 2 less VIT it is however cheaper.
Hmm....the NM that drops this also drops the bulb needed to make this, so technically if you had the right resources you could get 2 bows in one trip....right?
Summary: with level 58 Alchemy Subcraft a HQ is very hard to get (1-2% chance). I've synthed 12 yet: 10 NQ, 2 fails(lost Leshonki Bulb both times, guess it's 100% loss at fail). edit: updated
I don't know if anyone noticed this but the Rune Arrows add 1 VIT with Latent, the latent is activated by drawing weapon and it drains a certain amount of MP per tick, i think the Rosenbogen and the Rune arrow is the most uber thing for PLD, but no one has tried that out yet.....
I've tried it out and it's not as great as you think, and not really worth the effort in my opinion. I use the Rosenbogen, its a very good bow for PLD, most likely the best ranged slot there is for PLD, but rune arrows are just a wase of space. Most PLDs will agree that the MP drain just isn't worth it for 1 vit, unless maybe you're a taru PLD.
It could be used well in some cases though if the mob is going to spam silence on you, or hits you so fast you cant manage to cast (like Faust).
I usually carry a few with me, but you have to remember when to use it. You have to have /attack ON in order for the latent effect to start, so its useless if kiting, and if you're fighting most regular mobs, or HNMs even, that MP will be better used as cures or flashes than +1 VIT.
It's not Rose's Bow in german. "Rose" is not used as a name over here, the equivalent would be "Rosi" (and even that one is used rarely and only in southern areas), but that's totally out of context.
Rosenbogen means Rose Bow, which is easier to explain. It may either be made of rosewood (which it isn't), or it may hint the color (Rosé from the Fiend Blood and the Red Rose).
Not all german names in japanese games / animation are based on some kind of mythology, but it's always funny for me as a german to watch anime or play games that try to do so ;)
Digimon - "Lichtkugel" (attack) = Ball of Light One Piece - "Möwe" (imprinted on some ships) = Sea Gull "Kampf"-Equip = Fight Equip "Alraune" = Mandragora (xD) "König" Equip = King Equip
Hearing Asuka Langley TRYING to speak german in Neon Genesis Evangelion is really funny as well, though you're at least able to decipher what she's trying to say... if you try hard.
No, unfortunately with a bow equipped the only things you will be able to put in the slot to the right of the ranged weapon slot is ammunition (arrows).
