So in order to get the effect of "Enhances effect of "spikes" spells" do i only have to have them on while casting the spell, or do i have to have them on all the time? Anyone know?
Spikes efffects do not seem to do much for damage BUT paralize on ice spikes goes off way more ofen now...
Had mine over a month atm like em way better than my errants or 70JSE (also made more of a difrence on MBs than errants or JSE.) I fact i sold both of those.
But dress how you want to dress i see little diffrence maybe 5% either way.
Well, this particular piece of RDM AF2 certainly doesn't have "wow" stats, and is considered by many to be the worst RDM AF2 piece (although I'd have to say it's the gloves that are the most sucktacular). Despite that, there isn't a whole lot of selection for RDMs in the leg slot, and these tights are better than AF1 for most situations. The +10 Elemental Magic is fantastic if you're looking to boost your elemental skill (pretty much a must for free nuking on tougher mobs, but for bursting I still stick with Mahatma Slops). The DEX and added spikes damage is neat for soloing, but like many have mentioned, the "enhanced spikes" is rather disappointing.
These pants are kind of neat. Looks to add 3 damage to spikes and doesn't seem to hold any effect on the proc rate of Ice/Shock spikes' added effects---which is a tad disappointing.
Still, they're not bad. Extra skill to Elemental Magic is always a plus, and they got 5 DEX for melee and dagger WS.
I give 'em a thumbs up for looking so keen paired with the Assault Jerkin on a Mithra. ^_^
The Spikes improvement is minimal indeed. Damage from all spikes seems be be increased 2-3 damage. I'm also not noticing Stun from Shock Spikes kicking in much.
I currently have these, and am testing the Enhance Spikes effect, sadly, i can not see a different worth noticing, feel free to /tell Antone on caitsith for info further down the testing road
Got these the other day they are very nice wen u macro them in to ur MB's with the +10 elemental magic and also nice for solo but my main focus is to obtain the duelist's Tabard ahhh now that my friends is nice
The Enhance Spikes Effect increases the damage cause by blaze spikes by a couple. It increased blaze spikes from 12 to 15 for me.
When used with Ice Spikes or Shock Spikes, the damage didn't increase any. I can only assume the paralyze and stun effects of these spells are enhanced, but that's kinda hard to test.
These look absolutely kicka$$ for soloing, I just wish they had a wee bit of INT on them as well. Although, *I GUESS* when I get Zenith Mitts and it's +5 Magic Attack I will be happy again ^_^
