Play WoW Free Until September 26th

Blizzard is giving new players a chance to jump into Azeroth for free for the next three weeks.

As World of Warcraft prepares for its next big expansion, Warlords of Draenor, the team over at Blizzard is giving new players a chance to jump into the world of Azeroth for free until September 26th with the Standard edition of the game, along with its expansions up to Cataclysm, unlocked.

While it doesn't seem that past players or those who are currently subscribed will receive free time, anyone who has yet to play the game can download the client and try it for free during the next three weeks. With the game's new expansion on the horizon, now may be the perfect time to get a feel for things as you prepare for the upcoming battle with the Iron Horde. You can follow this link for instructions on how to download the client and get started.

As always, for more World of Warcraft information be sure to keep it locked to ZAM and don't forget to check out Wowhead for further in-depth coverage, guides and news.

At first I thought this was 3 weeks of free WoW. Then I realized its 3 weeks of a Starter Edition with the extra expansions unlocked. Went to load into my account that I havent touched in since 9/31/13 and was sorely disappointed.

Thanks for the update, I'll add it to the article for further clarification seeing as how the Blizzard page was a little unclear :)
