Free Realms Goes Diamond

According to a press release from Sony Online Entertainment earlier today, Free Realms has officially hit the 10 million registered user mark. This announcement comes at a great time, just as the game is revving up for its one year anniversary celebrations.

Throughout April, players will begin to see decorations springing up around Sacred Grove. Once the month-long event kicks off, players will be able to enjoy two new combat minigames, a full quest series and commemorative clothing, all dedicated to the anniversary. A live minigame, where players try to fend off Cakenstein (pictured right), will bring people together to achieve a common goal.

In preparation for the one year anniversary, Free Realms players will enjoy double Station Cash! Retail purchased cards that are redeemed during the appropriate time period will be worth double their value. See ZAM's previous coverage on the promotion for full details.
