Perfect World International: Sirens of War is now live! The sixth expansion is PvP focused, adding the standard collection of quests, weapons, skill changes, and more, but also adding Nation Wars. PvP is now open to all high level players, not just factions. 20 vs 20 skirmishes are the forefront, challenging lieutenants and generals of the highest caliber.

Promised in the newest Perfect World International expansion is high-level content and challenges, and that's exactly what Perfect World Entertainment is going to roll out. All of it's teased in this gameplay trailer, along with kickin' new bosses and baddies.
A brand new expansion is on the way for Perfect World International! Titled "Descent," players will be venturing into the world of Morai, a distant realm created specifically for the evil specters that once roamed the universe. Probably not the best idea to lock up all your biggest baddies into one world, but that's pretty much what happened here.
Anyway, as with any fantasy storyline, sealed off worlds of super evil spectres is just a synonym for future expansions, and now we've come a full circle to the announcement of Descent. That being said, Morai will be bringing with it some significant content for high-level players, including a raised level cap (95), new class skills and class balancing, as well as the opportunity to join new "orders" or factions in order to get unique perks and gear. Descent will be launching on February 15th, 2012, so stay tuned! In the meantime, check out the newest teaser trailer (below) from PWI, or go check out the teaser site they've put up.
Perfect World International is celebrating its third anniversary with events, gifts and new features! Here are the in-game prizes you'll be getting based on how long you've been registered:
In-game gifts are nice, but Perfect World Entertainment is also giving out some real world prizes to a couple lucky players. Everyone who plays Perfect World International from September 2-4 will automatically be entered to win one of two prize packs including in-game currency, a Logitech gaming keyboard and a limited edition Barbarian Tiger statue. If you want a chance at the loot, make sure you log in this weekend.
PWE will also be hosting a variety of in-game events, such as bonus EXP and powerful beginner gear for new characters. The game is also getting a couple new features: Ring Engraving to add stats to rings and a the new Phoenix Nest Wedding Chapel.

A mysterious timer is currently counting down on the Perfect World International site, and only the developers know what happens when the timer hits zero. All we know for sure is that the servers aren't shutting down.
We'll just have to wait for a little more than 33 hours to see what Perfect World Entertainment has in store for this free-to-play MMO. Until then, we'll be constantly listening to Europe's "The Final Countdown."
Perfect World Entertainment has teamed up with the American Red Cross to help aid Japan in a time of crisis. Through April 13, 50% of the proceeds of special in-game items will be donated to the relief effort following the recent earthquake and tsunami.
You can pick up a Bag Expansion in Battle of the Immortals, an Ancient Crystal in Ether Saga Online, a Star of Hope 10-pack in Forsaken World, Meditation Orbs in Jade Dynasty and the Super Inventory Stone in Perfect World International. Perfect World International's Genesis expansion launches today, March 2, and brings all sorts of changes to the game, such as new classes, a new race, guild bases and more. It turns out March is going to be a busy month for Perfect World Entertainment. Not only is Forsaken World set to launch on March 23, but Perfect World International's Genesis expansion is scheduled to go live on March 2.
Genesis is the fourth expansion for the free-to-play fantasy MMO. The update will bring a wealth of new content to the game, including the Earthguard race, the Seeker and Mystic classes and the ability to create guild bases. Check out the Genesis site for more details.
