Since I been pretty bored lately, anyone got any tips or strategies on how to deal with outland dynamis areas? Will just solo an hour here and there with maybe some duos if a friend is on. Im not really looking for max coin output, more like something to do.

Well, if you don't really have a goal in mind, I'm not sure what to tell you other than kill stuff and don't die.

I'm not sure if I've ever heard the term "outlands" for Dynamis. I'm used to hearing city, northlands, or dreamlands. If you're referring to northlands (Beaucedine and Xarc), I don't have much experience in Beaucedine. I've done a bit of Xarc. EP demons die quickly enough if you melee with your pet. DC demons have a lot of HP and take more time though. I found that RNG and NIN demons were rough on Yuly/Falcorr. Their ranged attacks aren't the usual crossbow type ranged attacks that you see with Orcs and Gobs. I'm not entirely sure, but I think they behave like TP moves in that they have enhanced accuracy.

Even if you only plan to be in Dynamis for an hour, it's still worth getting all 5 TEs. Your ability to proc will depend on how many of the TEs you've gotten. And even if you don't need the increased currency drop rate from procs, it's still useful to proc just to terrorize the mob as well as cancel/lock their 2 hours.

just tried it a few days ago and ya I meant dreamland dynamis, been out of the game for too long. I went into qufim and was able to get all 5 TEs, just have to be extremely patient. The problem I ran into was that both the raptors and tigers are tough to take out even if they checked as decent challenges. Bats goes down fast though.

I used the slug and sheep, just to get rid of old stock.

anything that checks decent challenge is on the stronger side of the map. if you go to the other side, the same mobs in different camps check as easy prey. Makes a big difference for solo farming.

Dreamlands is very popular for farming. So the main issue overcrowding in the popular spots. Qufim is especially troublesome since one of the nightmare mobs is Rocs. The EP Rocs are easy enough to farm... but there's only 3 spawns. That's simply not enough to support even one player.

Another useful thing to note is that ready moves count as a JA proc. It's too bad that it doesn't count as a WS proc, or switching to WS proc nightmare mobs might be a more viable option when things get too crowded on JA proc mobs.
