Lately Zam keeps crashing constantly after a while on a page and have to reload page.
This happens both with MS Edge and Chrome

Don't know if this is a flash problem or just poor coding

Site is also extremely slow at times waiting for some of your adds to load.
Does all these adds really create a revenue big enough that we have to live with slow loading ? or are you just using crappy overloaded servers ?

The browser crashes are caused by rogue ad that is using up a ton of browser memory, it has been reported to ZAM. I'll check with them again on Monday to see where they are at on getting rid of it.

The site being slow is caused by database issues which I've already analyzed and sent off the fixes to ZAM. We're waiting on them to implement the fixes.

I always have the impression that the "Latest Zam Articles" produces heavy lag and load.
Forced reloads are annoying as hell aswell.

The Latest ZAM Articles actually isn't the cause of the lag, it's something else regarding the ad system versus chrome based browsers that's causing a ton of errors which I have logged. I emailed ZAM again with these logs and screenshots about this. They replied and said they are aware of the problem and are doing some testing to figure out what the actual problem is.

I would advise you to use a non chrome based browser for the time being so this doesn't happen.

Only way i'm been able to make the site functional is Firefox in Private Mode. Regardless of the browser I use, making posts is very broken. I frequently get duplicate posts or lag out during posting resulting in an error page. Worse, sometimes when I post the site itself seems to go down for a few minutes - other users in our house all fail to access the site for a while.

Posting causes the site to become unresponsive for up to a minute and sometimes more time due to the size of the tables it inserts records into. The fix for this has been sent to ZAM. We're waiting on them to implement the fixes.

Things are getting pretty bad for Zam lately. Again, I am having the problem of the site randomly logging me out, and then not allowing me to log back in. The little wheel just spins and spins, seems like due to the advertisements. It is extremely frustrating and making me start to try to find other sites, and I really don't want to do that! I know you guys lowered the price of the site, but seemed like things went better when we paid a bit more for it!

Also, a bad link in the recipe for Vegetable Oil, that is under Elven Dressing. The link to make Vegetable Oil takes you to Coconut Ice Cream Crunch and a few other Crunch recipes. I wonder if that is due to the same problem with the advertisements, or just a bad link, because the little wheel kept spinning round and round again before finally going to the Coconut Ice Cream Crunch Recipe.

The site doesn't log you out. That is your browser most likely not saving your cookies for the site. If you don't allow the site to save a cookie, then when you close your browser or the tab that has allakhazam, it kills your session which results in you having to log in again.

I tried the Vegetable Oil link in the Elven Dressing recipe and it takes me to Vegetable Oil. I would say you have some problems with your browser.

What browser are you using and what version?
